Being in a preschool environment blends together so many things that are important to me: children, learning, laughter, cognitive and social development, respect, positive interactions, family and a sense of community.

Gina attended Providence College in RI where she received a BA in Humanities with a minor in Business, graduated with honors and met her husband, Chris. After a short stint in the insurance industry, she stayed home to raise her 2 children and volunteered in the community. She is now back in school pursuing her passion—taking classes in Early Childhood Education—and she is enjoying every minute of it! Teaching has always been a part of her life whether it was aerobics classes, Sunday school or Girl Scouts.

In January of 2012, Gina joined the WPSN team. Prior to that, both of her children partnered with the teachers in the classrooms of WPSN as 5th graders in Louisa Erickson’s classroom at Skokie School. This first introduction to WPSN through the eyes of her children really provided Gina with the understanding that WPSN was a truly special place. She feels so fortunate to be part of a team of educators who have such amazing energy and enthusiasm!

When not at work or in school, Gina loves to be outside taking long walks through the neighborhoods of Winnetka with her golden retriever “Sparky”, watching her childrens’  sporting events and spending quality time with her family.
