Since returning from Reggio Emilia, Italy, I cherish a richer parenting with children in their explorations. Observing their discoveries and listening to their words helps me understand their thinking. Sharing these times with a parent makes it even more memorable.

Jody Lapp began teaching at WPSN in 1967. Over the years she taught in every program at the school and developed and adapted Beginning Together from its inception. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois and has done graduate study at National-Louis University. Jody makes a practice of visiting¬†Reggio-inspired schools whenever she travels, and attended a study tour in Italy in 2004. While her daughters attended WPSN Jody served as a Board member for seven years. Her current title, “Emerita,” means that while engaged in her new businessInspired by Children, she will continue to consult and support the work of WPSN.
