The Toddler Explorers class is designed to provide the older toddler an opportunity to explore, develop, and learn in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment. Guided by experienced early childhood educators, the activities provided are carefully planned so that each child develops trust while their gross motor, fine motor, language, self-help, social, and cognitive skills are challenged. Fun, play-based activities include painting, singing songs, playing games that include large muscle movement, and listening to a story. Toilet training is not required.

Toddler Explorers also provides time to discuss a child development topic that is relevant to the adults in the class. Topics may include developmentally appropriate toys, separation anxiety, or what to expect of your child’s development over the next year.

Toddler Explorers will be offered in four sessions throughout the school year. If a child turns 2 years old during or between sessions, they may continue in the class for the remaining sessions. Parents are welcome to enroll for all sessions for the year, or may enroll for one session at a time.
