Rebecca Levine

I believe in the Reggio Emilia approach to education where children are viewed as capable and competent individuals who are full of ideas, where teachers are a resource for learning and develop curriculum based on the children’s interests and where parents are active participants in the school community.

Rebecca graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY with a BA in Sociology. After working at an afterschool program for children at risk, she decided to pursue a degree in Education. She moved to Boston and enrolled in Lesley University where she earned her Masters in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. After working in the public schools as a Special Education teacher, she took time off to raise her two children. Her husband’s job landed the family in San Antonio, Texas and Rebecca went back to work as a substitute teacher. In 2013, Rebecca and her family moved to Winnetka. She has been a member of the WPSN staff since the Fall of 2013 and looks forward to going to work everyday
